水の教訓


一、自ら活動して他を動かしむるは水なり
一、常に己の進路を求めて止まらざるは水なり
一、障害に遭いて激しく勢力を百倍するは水なり
一、自ら潔くして他の汚濁を洗い清濁併せて寄る量あるは水なり

そして、こんな言葉もあった。
水からも学ぶことがある。


The water moves by oneself and it moves others.
The water is always looking for where to flow and it doesn't stop.
The water flows stronger and stronger when it is dammed up.
The water has enough quantity to clean oneself and others.


There were above words, too.
We can learn many things from the water.

老人の心訓

一、老人で一番寂しいことは、する仕事のない事
一、老人で一番みじめなことは、身体が不自由で立ち居振る舞ができない事
一、老人で一番悲しいことは、敬して遠ざけられる事
一、老人で一番醜いことは、過去にしがみつく事
一、老人で一番楽しいことは、社会に役立つ事
一、老人で一番美しいことは、若者の邪魔にならず若い者のため陰の力になれること
一、老人で一番貴いことは、死を忘れないこと

そういえば、これがじいちゃんの部屋にあった。


To the elderly, it is the saddest thing that they don't have work to do.
To the elderly, it is the most miserable thing that they can't move by oneself because the body is inconvenient.
To the elderly, it is the loneliest thing that they are kept away because they are respected.
To the elderly, it is the most shameful thing that they persist in the past.
To the elderly, it is the most graceful thing that they are useful for the society.
To the elderly, it is the most beautiful thing that they don't disturb the youth and they support the youth hiddenly.
To the elderly, it is the noblest thing that they don't forget to die.


That reminds me, there were these words in my grandfather's room.
